You have two different gameplay styles, Tekken is 360 degrees of fighting and SF is not. If you make the game like SF Tekken fans will lose the ability to move left or right and would lose moves that were meant for 360 combat..unhappy Tekken Fans. If the game is made in SC/Tekken style those oh so awsome energy attacks would be evaded by a simple side step and the same would likely happen for ,super uppercuts, Bison's torpedo move (not sure if still does it), spinning kicks, etc...unhappy SF/capcom fans. So how would this work?
