Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony Takes Off the Gloves, Unleashes Comparison Chart!

Someone gotta make a Wii chart, cuz I doubt Nintendo will.

Because they are STILL making cash even as we enter the twilight of this console generaion. If history maintains, both the Kinetic and Move as add ons will only reach moderate success but probably won't still top Nintendo.

That being said, it is a new era and unlike any before it.

Nintendo should respond with a 3DS/PSP chart comparison.

Ok, these are getting pretty silly.  That one is just blatant lies and misinformation and I just pray it's a fan-made joke.

Whats the "Blatant lie!" here?

  • Both MS consoles now come with wireless controllers
  • Kinect doesn't need rechargeable battaries
  • The 360 has a secondary controller (if you're counting Kinect)

And mind you all these points are as stupid as these charts.  None of it really matters.

Wii also has full voice support technically (Wii Speak), even if it's a pretty terrible solution and rarely used.

You can also technically use a 360 controller with Kinect.  Forza's going to allow that, and use Kinect with headtracking, as one of the control options.

Lame comparison...

Intersting one would be:

"how many people can play at the same time?" we'll see, depending on games

"how many good games will use it?" we'll see, wii seems to have a huge advance on that, and I'd go forPSmove over kinect  because of the wii experience.

"can you play in your couch?" Yes for wii and PSmove, No for kinect which is a MAJOR problem to me

"is it usable in more than games?" Yes for wii and kinect, no for PSmove (unless maybe in the browser, who knows...) but yet again, the inability to use kinect from the couch pretty much ruins the point of being able to use it for menus.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

Simple motions (such as the Netflix integration which was shown) or body specific tracking (ie: head tracking) can be done sitting.  It's only full body tracking that can't.

The joke was, Sony is trying to compare the Move (a device coming out in 2011 that is an imitation of a product and has a chance to improve on it in every way) to the Wiimote (a device that came out in 2006 and was the model for all the others).  It would be only fair (and funny) if Nintendo did the same with a comparison with the upcoming 3DS (coming out in late 2010) and original PSP (came out in 2004).

Six upcoming games you should look into:
