D-D-D-ddddamage control!!

Here's my scientific and only possible listing : (In a perfect world where every game is meant for being played single player)

Decent PS3 (300), Move bundle (100), SubCon (30) = 430

Decent 360 (300), Kinect bundle (150) = 450

Wii (150), MP (20), Balance Board (100), Classic Con (20), shopping cart filled with delicious candy (110)= 400

Guess who wins this christmas. :/

I seriously don't understand how you do it, Microsoft. For that price you can't even play online, which is the most basic thing I'd want from a current-gen console.

And Sony, I don't mind turning my PS3 into a Wii, but I already have one and I use the classic controller whenever I can because the motion control scheme sucks. You know my love for you is unconditional, but this feels like some sort of heresy. :((

Whoever wants my love the most will have to create the most epic RPG in the history of ever and design it so that it uses a console's motion controls in the most intuitive and interesting way humanly conceivable, so that I never get bored and sink countless hours into it.

Then I'll buy whatever motion control gimmick you bestow upon me, being with too much disposable income.

Hey, I love the Wii, and I don't need a balance board.  This is teh funny.

Very lame MS - they know that their entry pricing is dearer and are choosing selective scenarios to make it seem like the best value. 

If I was in charge of Nintendo, I would probably release a "Family Value Bundle" of the Wii, 2 Wiimotes, 2 Nunchucks, and 2 MotionPlus accessories, with Wii Sports Resort and a "Value" title (think one of Nintendo’s games released in the first year) for $200 or $250 because it would make Kinect and Move seem very expensive.

This type of marketing looks REALLY familiar 

And everyone hopped on Sony for that...

How about we do something a little more sensical logic. Instead of "omg you HAVE to buy 4 controllers blah blah blah", how about we just look at what people get when they go to their respective stores and buy their products

If you ask me, I think MOVE and Kinect are marketed at different demographics. SONY themselves said that they wanted MOVE to be hardcore first, Casual second. With Kinect, it seems to be the other way around. They're not directly competing if you ask me.

Thanks BMaker for adding a solo chart. Basic option is ALWAYS popular when evaluating a purchase. Because a second controller can be purchase later on, its price will not be calculated as entry price by most consumers. Thats too bad for microsoft, but this simple rule helped them a lot in regards of Arcade 360 VS PS3, so they should be happy about how consumers generally behave even tough.

Hypocricy at it's finest.
