I think Wii Party will be epic.  Another 10-20m seller.   It is a system seller and aside from GT5 probably the only true system seller coming out this year.   Not because it's a mini-game fest, but because Nintendo understands fun and this will be a really fun game for everyone, kids, grandparents and gamers alike.

Kirby, Metroid, DKCR will all sell solidly, like previous versions in their respective series.  IE: MoM 1-2m, K:EY - 2-5m, DKCR 3-6m

Pokepark will sell mostly to children but should be good for 1-2m

FlingSmash?  Unless it's promoted heavily, will fly under everyone's radar and would be lucky to hit 500k

Why will it be a system seller?

Because like Wii Sports, it's the type of title that people will play at their friend/cousin's/grandkids house, love and want to buy a Wii to play themselves.

That's the keyword here :)

Why will pepole who weren't interested in the Wii so far, will suddenly be interested just because of Wii Party?

It's a completely different game with different fun factors.    Also, there's a lot of people who initially got interested in Wii because of Wii Sports (at someone else's house) but could never find a Wii.  By the time they became easily available that urge had worn off.   So if Wii Party again gives that impulse to buy, not only will they get that, but Wii Sports and WSR too and at a better price.    Strong incentive for casual buyers.

More new quality content for the expanded market means more people finally giving in and buying the system. The same thing was argued about Wii Sports Resort when it came out and people didn't think it would push hardware because it was similar to Wii Sports. Then the Wii Sports Bundle came out in May, and the standalone version of WSR disappeared from the charts. Turns out nearly everyone buying WSR was buying it along with a new system.

Wii Party, if it is a huge 10m selling game, will certainly push hardware sales in this way. When a game is that large, there is no question that it will move hardware.

Could definitely use some Reginleiv or Xenoblade, but it's not bad.

Agreed. Doubtful we'll be getting Xenoblade this year, but i really wish Nintendo picked up Tales of Graces to fill in the gap.

How technical is your game?

thats not a very good lineup tbh. a few good games sure. but not a top quality offering by any stretch of the imagination.

wiiparty will sell like hotcakes though, and its looking likely i may buy kirby epic yarn.

ps. u missed epic micky of the list thats out this year isnt it?

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

I think he's just noting what's coming from Nintendo directly. No third party software.

Aside from DKC I don't see any of them pushing much hardware, but they should all sell decently, with DKC and Wii Party doing great.  The exception is Flingsmash, which will probably be just a blip on the radar.

I'm more interested in GoldenEye 007, Conduit 2, and NBA Jam than those games. Metroid: Other M is probably the only Nintendo game I will get in Q3/Q4.

Ok Imagine this Price Cut to $149.99  with Wii Sports,Wii Sports Resort Wii Motion Plus and Wii Party

That would sell like mad, but I have a feeling Nintendo is not going to want to cut the price of the Wii again anytime soon, let alone bundled with another game. Just doesn't fit their strategy.
