I hated the gameplay of Final Fantasy VIII. I only loved the story

The lack of Ogre Battle 64 is astounding.

There simply is no better writer than Matsuno... That game has the most amazing and overwhelming story I have ever seen in a video game.

Crap, that's on my list too.

Story hmm that was an though one books are so much better on this.

Think twice before helping a friend in need.

The Metal Gear Solid franchise and Bioshock

Grim Fandango is also amazing. Planescape: Torment and GF get my vote

The reason for this is that approximately 3.72 people actually played through Ogre Battle 64.  I've had it on my shelf for years now but have not found the time to play it (like most of the games I foolishly buy).  I'd love to get around to it though... it always looked so awesome.

Hates Nomura.

Man thats a toughie >< let's see,

Metal Gear series, plot twists, great character developement, kinda twisted :D

God of War, GREAT character developement, revenge, sadness, and anger :D Very moving, very believable.

Wild Arms, GREAT music, character developement, simple yet well executed storys.

Final Fantasy 6, 7, 9, 10. I just didn't get into the characters with the other ones,  although I didn't like the characters in 9 they were believable.

Xenosaga, I adored most of the characters on my team, with some pretty solid voice work and a great artistic style the game was more like an interactive movie that delivered on all fronts.

Chrono Trigger, AMAZINGLY believable characters, great villains, wonderfull landscapes. Another masterpiece from Square.

Time Splitters Futer Perfect, the game was just funny, believable characters, natural sounding conversation :D Very pleased ^_^

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Classic!!! Amazing character developement :) Very believable dialogue. Just a classic pulp story that delivers :)

Lufia 2, and Lunar get mentions :D

Time Splitters:  Future Perfect was great.  The story was really hokey, but it was funny and I enjoyed every minute of it.  My favorite scene is when the girl in the skirt tells Cortez to climb down the ladder first and he just grins and says "Ok".  Also, that moose monster was super freaky lol.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said but I don't think you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

The story in FF VII would have been better if Squall had died.  Same goes for Cloud, Zidane and Tidus.  Square quit giving us stupid whiny boys as leading characters!  If you must include them make them a sidekick or something.

mine would be the metal gear solid stories
