Man, I never saw the last video. THAT looked amazing!

Unfortunately, that was the only glimpse from the pre-alpha gameplay build of Resurrection, outside the trailers. That was a few months before Square shut off the program

I actually thought the cut scenes in the DS version were odd and took away some of the greatness of the game. they felt out of place.

But then, medievil music is just magic.

You mean the videos? yeah, they are kinda odd, but so far, I've only seen like two of them (one for Robo and for Ayla. I'm up to the dreamstone part too).

Nothing beats prehistorick rock

Hey, thats where I am exactly.

I'm currently farming TP on the Hunting Range, to get Charm for Ayla. There are quite a few number of weaponry to be charmed from enemies in the Reptite's lair. At least, that's what I remember from the last time I played CT

Ahahaha, that works too XD.

I'm going for a perfect file, so I can't miss out on Charm

How are your current levels? (I think I'm way too over-leveled, both Chrono and Ayla are at 20).

Well... I remember it and for a while I believed the whole thing but... somehow it seems fake, like, they didn't finish it and just faked the C&D (fairly common, or as the case with OoT-2D where the guy faked DYING) because the project became too large or time consuming... someone on another forum explained it and it seemed more probable... especially waiting until the game was "almost finished" and that the game was never leaked, much less released as an incompletion ( you'd think most people would issue an incomplete version of the game then say they read the C&D that morning in their inbox). Hell, even that one AO-Rated-for-violence PS2 game got leaked... forgot what it's called, but it got leaked and burned to discs... and even sold I think on the black market -.-

I find it hard to believe that someone would go through all that trouble just to fake a remake, which was also hosted and interviewed in major gaming outlets like 1UP, EGM and Gamespot.

Also, if Square threatened the people behind this project with lawsuits if they continued with it, I just can imagine what would happen if they leaked the incomplete project. Do you think that they would go through all that trouble, just for the heck of it.

Pretty much, this was one of the most awaited (and talked about) fan remake projects out there in it's time, like today's Black Mesa is too (HL1 remake). At least Valve has the decency not to fuck up the fans work.

Nizbel from the Reptite Lair right? Well, he/she/it has a nifty Third Eye accessory to Charm (one of the only three available in the whole game) so that's a must for me

And yeah, Lightning is a must for that fight, because it lowers it's defenses, but on the downside, it makes the boss counter with Lightning Discharge.

Eh, I'd much rather see a new Chrono game. Then again....I don't really trust square to pull it off. Maybe Level-5.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

The only reason Crono Trigger makes me sad these days is that I know I will never see masterpices like this from S-E ever again( well Squaresoft to be exact) they pretty much have sold their soul to the western market
