Viper, it's a bit rich to claim the forum going Nintendo fans don't support the developers. Most of us here have probably bought a lot of the niche Wii third party games that the wider public didn't care about.

LOL, It's an editorial I wrote that I wanted to share with the community.  I didn't write it to berate the efforts of the VGC Nintendo forum.

I'm fully planning to get either Goldeneye, CoD Black Ops, or Conduit 2 for Christmas. It depends on which I hear the best about.

As for the 3DS, I'm not an early adopter, but I want one when I can.

I can guarantee you Black Ops will generate the most praise.

I buy games I want to play. No matter if they are 1st 2nd or 3rd party. If they cant interest me in buying a game thats thier problem not mine.

Although CoD games on the Wii tend to get lesser reviews.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

When third parties start making games that are as good as Nintendo's i'll give them equal attention. Until then there are games from maybe two companies I'll pay full price for. For everything else I wait for the inevitable price drop.

Then I guess Nintendo shouldn't expect much third party support in the future if a lot of people follow your line of thought. Not many developer's can match the development skill of Nintendo and yet your standards are so high that you overlook heap's of  great titles that Third Party publisher's release.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I have to agree here. You don't ask the painter down the street to match Da Vinci. You are setting them up for failure in spite of thier grand capabilities.

Like the rest of the world I buy my 3rd party Wii games from the bargain bin.

Full price for last gen quality? No thank you.

I say just match the quality of the stuff they put on the HD systems. It's not rocket science.

Frankly I just wish they would match the quality of high quality games on the PS2 and Xbox.

Wii games tend to feel half assed and low budget.
