Microsoft has timed this fairly well. The X360 lift in the USA and Japan is going to wear off over the next few weeks, but it will take 3-6 weeks for the Euro lift to slow I'd wager.

I stop trusted your predictions in 2008. You said the 360 would decline from this point on, because the 3rd year is always the best. ALWAYS!
I want to see more pics.

This seems to be the first console generation, that I'm aware of, where the console providers are working very hard throughout the generation to compete and drive sales.
Previously there has been one very dominant console so it's all be very simple and stable - the big console grows then tails of while the others thrash around keeping their head above water.
This generation has been truly split across multiple successful consoles and demographics and as a result it's breaking most rules established from previous generations.
Consider how Kinect and Move are being pushed as major console rejuvinators vs the way Sony simply tossed out the Eye on PS2 as another option but didn't feel the need to really push it.
Or how the whole redesign is being pushed for PS3/360 vs the PS2 where it was simply an inevitable shrinking of tech for an already market winning console.
