Self interest is what drives us all. Communist visionaries with a utopian vision where the proletariat rules over the bourgeosie vastly underestimated self interest at the very least, while forming their little cabal and cult of personality in order to keep the population in check.

Self interest, individuality and status seeking go hand-in-hand. You see this from 1st world economies where cars, clothing and jewelry are the most commonly touted signs of status on down to tribal societies where the number of goats or who has the biggest squash is touted as a sign of status.

I have a brother who is super paranoid about this stuff, but what is funny is that every article/video he has shown me with 'proof' of this long-term plan being developed has so many holes with factually wrong information (not just opinion, but recorded provable facts) that its impossible to consider any of it being true.

Is it true that men with power strive for more power/money? of course. Is it true that they may even band together to serve their own interests? sure. Does this mean we are slowly falling into a well planned over reaching dictatorship regime that will crush us all of our freedoms and money? lol no.
