It doesn't matter that they were inacurate, at the time (which is what matters with my post) is that I was correct and you were wrong. You were basing your opinion on the inaccurate sales and you were wrong.

If I was basing my opinion on inaccurate data, then what were you basing yours on? If you reread my ealier post, you'll see that I said we were both wrong. Now quit trying to slime your way out of it and admit that you were wrong. I've done so, but the question is, can you?

I wasn't wrong though? The new accurate sales didn't come in until a week after the week you predicted PS3 to take the lead. With allt he information we had, I was right and you were wrong.
I was basing my prediction on inaccurate sales, but at the time, you made a cocky prediction that at current rates was wrong. You only got it right because of the adjustments, which you didn't predict. Neither did I, else I wouldn't have said 360 would beat it.
PS3 did beat the 360 that week, but at the "current rates" at the time, it was never going to, thus I was correct ...

Man, the ego on you.
Since the adjustments came the week right after I made my prediction, there is no way of knowing whether the 360 would have beaten the PS3 that week, because what the data was showing is that the 360's sales were cooling off after the brief burst in sales due to the Slim launch. This, among other circumstances lead me to make the prediction which you found to be "cocky". Inaccurate or not, the data showed that the gap between the two had decreased to only a difference of a few thousand, which the PS3 was going to cover, had things gone the way they seemed to be going. Hence, I would've been right, if not for the adjustments and you would have been wrong... now you're wrong twice over.
But you admitting that I did get it right (regardless of the adjustments, see I can ignore facts too) makes it alright.
It takes real courage to acknowledge one's mistakes. Guess you're not up to that level, yet :)
