No way I believe that. I think MW2 was the peak of the franchise. I predict Black Ops will sell about 60-70% of what MW2 sold, and then MW3 will be even less because of the IW situation and people generally hating MW2. Anyone I've heard that was a big fan of CoD4 hates MW2.

Well that is incorrect with me. So you can't say it anymore :(

yeah i loved CoD4 and loved MW2 even more.

Atto Suggests...:

Book - Malazan Book of the Fallen series

Game - Metro Last Light

TV - Deadwood

Music - Forest Swords

With Black Ops Treyarch has a shot at becomming the CoD king. Its their first non-WW2 CoD, and as far as I can tell they have a massive budget and all the creative drive they need

I hate A/B as a company, but I would lie if I say that I am not interested in Black Ops at all... as a gamer and as a sale junkie

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

I wonder what the Wii sales will be since its now coming out for the Wii on the same day as the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Wii version could sell possibly over a million units.

They need to put an end to this so-easy moneymaking franchise. I'm sick of Activision.

All COD versions on the Wii sold over a million units...

We can't compare it yet with Vgchartz numbers, as pre-order tracking started 12 weeks prior to release of MW2. We still have to wait 6 weeks till we're really able to compare them. I think it will be close though when comparing all versions.

so improved pre-orders but reduced legs ? or reduced actual sales ?

are there EA guys making those false pre-orders ?

I know that the other versions sold over a million, I am just being safe. I should have said that i hope it sells over 2 million. Either way it should be interesting to see how it performs.

Well my friend was "LEGIT COD4 PROZZZ" and he said MW2 when it came out. After a month he tried to COD4 and he said "Wow this sucks" and went back lol.

I found that aswell. Enjoyed CoD 4 and got MW2. MW2 online annoys the hell out of me, but on a good night can get through a few games. Had a look back at CoD4 and found I couldnt stand how outdated it. The ridiculously blatant cheater in one game I had on my least favourite CoD4 map didnt help. Now found I have a general disliking.

Although I disliked the WW2 weapons on WaW, I liked the campaign so Im not sure about Black Ops. But with Halo Reach coming out will probably forget all about Call of Duty

I still believe MW2 will be the best selling COD game of all time.

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.
