most definately 5 the others besides 4 never really looked that great. though that may be because I didnt really get into the series until 4 so they were dated
You forgot the first one, Resident Evil the original was stunning in the time of PS/SS/N64, it combined pre-rendered background and 3D characters in such a way that the whole survival horror genre is born. Stunning is a way of reference to the technology available at the time, and no resident evil can ever achieve the same graphical revolution the first one bring to the gaming landscape at the time of 2D pixels. Though RE 5 today look much much more detail than RE 1 if you compare them side to side now, but there are tons of games that have similar graphical prowess like RE5 today, and none at the time of RE1.
Resident Evil 5, never was into the RE's in the past, but I went back and played the PC version of Resident Evil 4 recently and that game look's absolutely horrible, I've played older game's that look much better.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

remake n zero well i can say is they were ahead of their time. very nice looking indeed
I would probably say the REmake or RE4 GC.
The REmake along with Rougue Sqaudron II, were the games to convince me how powerful the GC was in comparison to the Dreamcast (graphically I wasn't that impressed by most early PS2 games).
RE 4 GC showed me what could be done with then current gen technology. I honestly didn't think a Resident Evil game could look that good in real time (when I first saw shots of RE4, I thought quite a lot would be pre-rendered). Then Capcom ballsed up by not having proper widescreen until the Wii port.
However, I wasn't gaming when the original was released on the PSX, so I can't really say what impact it had on me. But it must have been fairly revolutionary as if I remember correctly didn't it convice SquareSoft to use pre-rendering for FFVII (and therefore influence it jumping ship to the Playstation)?

Definitely comparable with games this gen, I bought my friends gamecube with remake and zero, Imagine bringing zero to ps3 with online co-op it would work so well! also I think that there should be another episode to the RE outbreak
REmake still looks pretty good , and at the time i thought it had the best graphics out there.
