There was a kid I went to school with who absolutely loves home. He is still on my FL. and he is on it all day. Always talked about buying the new goodies and stuff. I don't like that stuff but all power to him.

Good to see Sony is making money off of it. I really enjoy the media thing in home though.

It's a failure and a waste of time. lol

Profitable = Failure?

Man your logic is twisted.

Sony has'nt released any solid number's. It could be PR speak for all I know. Instead of focusing on home,Sony should focus on making more games. lol

they got the most varied and exclusive and for some best line up for the year O-o while they continue what they did in 2009-2010 i see a bright future
yeah... the thing is home vision changed when phil garrison left... probably one of the reason he left, he wanted home to be something unique, but sony needed money if that keep bringing games like lbp2 and kz3 so be it

It's not a huge money-maker as said earlier, otherwise sony would be bragging a bit about that and rapidly expanding home as a bigger and better service would make more $$$$$, but we don't see either cases.

But, having said that, the profit thing is not the only benefit of home.  It also makes the core service more valuable by giving gamers a funner way to interact than chat messages that you type in.

It also integrates advertising into its service for Sony products, which isn't calculated as far as the profit.

So, I think that it probably helps a bit, but it isn't anything to write home about (sorry for the pun).

they sure do i go on every week just for the free shit but i meet alot of people that buy the estates at $4 a piece and alot of the clothing for $1-$3 a piece i only spent about $5 since it came out also a tip for some if you change ur address to a place that has no sales tax in ur ps3 account u dont get charged tax that even works for psn purchases
