wasn't really an exclusive. They developed the engine to work on the PS3 and planned for the game to come out on it. It was THQ that didn't want the game on the PS3. At the time they didn't want to put money into a hard to develop platform, new engine, and new studio.

This game is pretty underrated, i liked it more than Fallout, though less budget (obviously) , i am comparing them because they're both the same setting, kinda.

whatever the reason was, it was a console exclusive 3rd party title, which it no longer is....unless the previous game was on the ps3 or wii yep it was a console exclusive...kinda like what happened to dead rising

Metro 2033 is probab;y the best FPS since 2005 to grace gaming so I can't wait for a sequel.

 

OT: This game was so much better on the PC that on the 360 that they weren't even the same game almost. I am going to guess the same will be true of the PC vs the 360/PS3 for the sequel so this news is very inconsequential.

Can't you use a 360 Controller On Metro 2033 for PC?

360 graphics actually looked like crap compared to what I got on my PC. The ground textures outside looked like actual crap even. Calling the graphics on the 360 for Metro 2033 anything other than bland and outright bad when compaed o the PC one is kind of laughable though.

As for controls, the KBD&M were infinitely superior, as is the case with every FPS.

You sound like a dumb ps3 fan who was just waiting to say that. It was never exclusive to begin with, so I'm not sure how it can lose something it never had.

On topic, this game is going to bomb so hard on the ps3. For one thing, the original is PC/X360 only with no multiplayer. Between all the shooters coming out this year and next, I'm sure what ps3 fans really want is another shooter but this time without multiplayer. Yeah... that'll go over well.

Metro is a great game, and the sequel will be fodder for x360 vs. ps3 comparisons. I doubt many ps3 fans will really care about it.
