Rumor: Microsoft Rep Says Kinect Not $150 - Gives New Price

Apparently even the Microsoft representatives to Gamestop can't figure out the real price of Kinect.

A Microsoft representative told the employees of a Texas Gamestop that Kinect would be $119. Is Microsoft still deciding what the price will be? Is it $150 like everyone seems to think? Is this representative just bewildered and confused or does he know something that the rest of us don't? Stay tuned to Xbox Evolved as we continue to unravel the mystery of the Kinect pricing. I think that MS not revealing the price of Kinect was a smart idea. They let the rumor of a 150 price point linger long enough for them to gauge gamer's opinions so that if it was too high, they could manage to lower it.

$120 is Right where i said it would be originally. Day one if true. but rumors are rumors.

$150 would be pushing it.

i find it wierd that microsoft took all the liberty of doing a bunch of crazy stuff to pomote this thing but still hasnt even given the msrp for it yet. uggh.

The sad part is even if the price ends up being cheaper than $150, the trolls and haters will just find something else to rip on it about . . .

Damn... if they manage to sell it @ 120... That would be just epic xD

And what bundled with it?  I figure it at least has to have one game, if not two.

I still remember the times when we thought it was going tobe $50, now $120 is called epic.
