Forums - Nintendo - Will Goldeneye 007 settle the old question?

I don't know... I honestly don't think this will have enough of a community or be good enough to settle anything.

Its going to be tough for Activision to capture N64s Goldeneye 007 without any source code or developers involved with the original. Not to mention that Eurocom is doing the game development...lol

Thats like taking a classic Led Zeppelin song and giving it to Three Days Grace to cover...

Three Days Grace > Led Zeppelin

oh ya

No, that's a false analogy, because song artists are actually known among music fans. Development studios are not.

I think the analogy is fine. Both artists and developers have a cataloge of previous work which usually indicates the quality level we can expect in their future work.

For sure...Zeppelin's got nothing on the 13-16 year old EMO kids demographic compared to Three Days Grace.

Doesn't Bond get to drive a tank at some point in Goldeneye? DA might be able to match Wiimote for that stage.

Dual analogue is dying. It's 'slide pads' and pointers from here out. Once Bizarre Creations figures out a new way to play Geometry Wars we can all happily say goodbye to DA forever.

We will see... I would give a chance to Eurocom, they have already co-developed Dead Space Exctraction with Visceral Games, I think they have a sufficient know-how, at least on the tecnical side, for the task.

A keyboard and a mouse is the best. If you don't believe me then play your favorite FPS on your PC, then play it on your 360 or PS3. Major difference.

Analog sticks are too touchy and can either get too smooth or a bit sticky over a period of use. As for Wii remote and the technology, I am quite uncertain how it will stack up against the dual analog controllers.

Look at Golden Eye for the N64 and compare it to todays FPS's.

Golden Eye is a party game, it was just for 3 other friends to drop by and have a blast, there's no intelligence needed, it's a movie spin-off as well which clearly exposes its underlying issue that it's a casual game.

If they want to make Golden Eye  competative, they need to drop the multi-player and introduce online multi-player predominantly, they need to add a perk system, and martyrdom, they need to name also make the theme about a 9 year old war.

Most of all they need to drop fun game play and replace it with shock of value.

Then if would be a definative first person shooter.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.

It's really funny how many people underestimate dual analogue.

I've yet to play a Wii shooter, where I'd get better results than playing with dual analogues.

DS Extraction, House of the Dead Overkill, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil 4, RE Umbrella/Darkside Chronicles & The Conduit didn't do it for me.

No, it won't.

It's going to be like the old question "does skill play a role in Mario Kart Wii"? The side who makes the ridiculous claim will deny to play against the other side to keep up the status quo.

Or the other age old question "Why isn't samus in a mario kart game?"

What about Link, Kirby, Pitt and Fox?

Life is a bitch.

Didn't you try COD:WAW or Reflex?

The Conduit and COD titles did it for me.

Does the spilt-screen multiplayer work with the wii remote & nunchuk? with all the games coming up tihs holiday, i cant afford to buy 4 classic controllers.
