This is so sexy looking...

Is Ghibli also doing the story or just the animation? Having the story in Ghibli's hand makes me sleep more comfortably at night... L5 aren't that great of a story teller....

Obviously they are, I mean what is Studio Ghibli doing otherwise, just the art? Don't think so.

Level 5 is sticking to the gameplay/battle system part which after WKC I don't trust them with either, but the trailer looks good and this is their main team making the game.

Lovely!

It's not technically impressive but who cares about that when you have that art style! Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous!

I hope there is some distinction (other than graphics) between the PS3 and the DS version so I get an excuse to buy both!

According to rumors the article says the story in both versions will be different.....

if i could be any happier to own a PS3, it would be now

Actually this is the kind of game that would make me buy a another console, if it was exclusive.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

2011 > 2010 confirmed.

if the story and other stuff is different in both versions i guess we can consider the ds a ds exclusive and the ps3 another exclusive since they are different games.

No, Level 5 (Hino) is doing the story. Ghibli is doing the animation. Also, there doesn't seem to be Move support. One of the guys at the Level 5 event said so on his Twitter (this is a plus, btw :P)

Anyway the game looks very nice but they should've went with a DQ VIII style world map. Well at least Versus does...
