Anyone know what they received?  I am surprised they never talked about it on TV.

It certainly is sad that someone had to lose. I'm not sure if these records will ever be broken to be honest.

And it was a heck of a lot of records.

Both players each served over 100 aces. 11 hour match is a record. Final score 70 games to 68 games in the fifth set. The American won the match. The French opponent put up a very good fight and equally deserved to win. 

It's a shame that Isner lost in  the second round, but I'm not really suprised. He was beat up and stiff.

I guess he'll just have to console himself with his cute little multiple world records that will probably stand for decades.

Poor guy.
