If Nintendo really wanted to sell more systems a $50 price cut would make the Wii significant once again.  Let's face it the Wii is overpriced and Nintendo has rode that horse for quite a while now.  I see a large errosion of sales in a couple of months if Nintendo doesn't change it's stance soon.

Zelda SS won't be available this holiday (or I'd agree), and MOM sold about the same as MH3 iirc (with far, far less promotion).  I'd have liked a MH3 bundle back in April though.

this is a good idea

If bundles helped mediocrity like Resistance 1 sell that much they should help Other M too

I wouldn't call it a flop, but it isn't a blockbuster either.  It still sold a healty 510K in less than 2 months and should easily sell 600K by Christmas 700-800K by it's 1st year. Though I do agree with you on the bundle as long as they cut the price of hardware as well!!!

For a Metroid game - even for a Metroid game, which is a fourth-tier franchise for Nintendo in terms of sales - Other M did very poorly.
