The Western version will have hostesses. Sega confirmed this to website Siliconera. Other Yakuza 4 mini-games like mahjong and shogi have not been finalized yet. Sega's arcade quiz game Answer x Answer, which is in the Japanese version, will not be in the localized version. If Sega decided to localize the 1,000 questions the Answer x Answer mini game features, the Western release would be pushed past spring 2011.

Agreed.  Westerns are missing out on one of the best game series of all time.  And there's just so many things you can do in their games even if Sega cut out alot. It took me 100hrs to Platinum it and i know there's still plenty left to do to complete.  Definitely one of my longest played game that doesnt have an online feature.

It took me 100hrs to Platinum it and i know there's still plenty left to do to complete.  Definitely one of my longest played game that doesnt have an online feature.

you mean one of the greatest generic fighting game series of all time. The demo told me not to buy it. lol

Sure the fighting isnt as indepth as one could imagine but its definitely not generic with all the possible ways to beat up a guy with the environment you're in and the items around you.  

Its mainly about the storyline and the characters.  Too bad you based your decision not to get it due to the demo as the demo certainly did not do the game justice.  At the least you should rent it so you can try the game to a fuller depth.

 

Ask any other VGC that owns/ played Yakuza 3 fully and they'll tell you the same, and that basically the demo didnt help.  But if you want to judge a game based on a poor demo then its truly your lost at not experiencing an amazing game.

Its old-school design may turn alot of people off, but if you keep an open-mind you are in for a great experince
