PSP2 needs to have a touchscreen and run Android and come in a phone variant. It needs to compete with smartphones as much as it competes with the 3DS. Needs to be able to play PS2 games.

Without piracy I believe psp HW sales would sink to even lower levels.
It's obvious people are buying it to pirate - the software sales are abysmal, much worse than hardware.

IMO if Sony make a psp phone , Sony could take some market share from apple and make some profit.
Imagine a Ipod/Iphone but with Sony game.

Sony always doubled the things that it copies improves on. Expect 4 analog sticks, 4 screens and naked eye 6D.

I think Sony could release a rip off of 3DS and be successful if they can get it to market by winter 2011. I'd say a single screen like the PSP but have it 3D like 3DS, plus have it be a touch screen so you can select menu's and drag them around the screen like Minority Report. If Sony did it right they could have gold on their hands, but I think Nintendo's software would still drive 3DS to the winning spot.
But a 3D touch screen PSP2 could probubly ship another 50-million units and tie the origional PSP's market share. But I don't see any PSP2 becoming a 3DS killer!

Better graphics, 2 Analogs, Change the UMD to another media and make Digital Distribution, but with a reduced price(UMD only 1.8 GB Top... Maybe Flash Cards?). Touch Screen(Not really needed, but whatever...), 3G, PSP Backwards Compatibility, 16/32 GB HD , LONGER BATTERY LIFE, better interactivity with the PSN, Trophies, a better protection system, GREAT GAMES to a good start (like Uncharted Wish it could be true *--*) and a better interactivity with the PS3... It could be a phone too, but not really THAT important...
I know its ask to much, but dont bring a high price TT____TT
If this happens to a PSP2, i'm sold ;D

If Sony can get digital distribution worked out, the PSP might have a chance.
A second analog stick would be nice. =)
