This game is a rental at best. I wonder how long they worked on the game?

ACtivition hasnt bothered to bring in treyarch to help with the IR pointer controls, and i think that that alone shows a lack of desire for a truly great product. Im still somewhat excited for it. Like Zucas said, the game will have all the crazy modes in the original, and things like that are to obviously absent in modern shooters that take themselves far too seriously.

The game could sell crazy well with a goldengun bundle and a name known the world over. That assuming its at least competant.

I read the part about the Wii being the inferior console and stopped there.  Some people thought that the N64 was the inferior console at the time as well because it used cartridges.

I expected something different here.

I thought the disappointment would have been because of how different the game will be from the original. Because, apparently, it is, according to joystiq at least.

I'm calling this weeks ago as soon as we first head about the remake. I won't repeat what I have said about this game again in detail. Here is the short "It's a cash in" with a team with a small budget and little time.

While I certainly believe Activision is in this for the money, those other two things can't just be assumed. For one thing, this game has a lot of physics going on, and that can't come quicly or cheap.

Activision is more of a "spend money to make money" type of thing, as they did with Call of Duty. Plus they most certainly want sequels out of this.

You're going to get banned for calling the Wii an inferior console, and rightly so.

What happens with PS360-Wii multiplats?  The Wii version is a gimped afterthought.  Nintendo didn't want this to be screwed up, that's all.

And after all, it was on a Nintendo console to start with.  And there's less competition there.  Horrible idea?  Quite the opposite.
