Forums - Microsoft - XBox 360 S overheating video

I'm more inclined to think it is an overheating issue of some kind.  I mean you can hear the fan running pretty hard (and loudly) in the backround.  It could just be a faulty system, though.  Lord knows MS may have been able to survive one failure fiasco, but there is no way they could survive a second.  I guess technically it would be a third if you counted E-74.

I would agree with you, but this guys seems to be a supporter of all three consoles.  And he has freaking 3 360's sitting next to each other, while saying he's bought a 4th (wherever that one may be).

You know I have never knocked my 360 over with tons of people in my house. Even with rockband with all of the wires all over the place for people to trip on. Oh yea the 360 has break away cables so the cbles just snap and the console doesn't move, Or the controllers are wireless so nothing to trip on. If your so worried just don't get a 360, keep playing your ps3 or wii or pc, and miss out on all the 360 has to offer. But if your worried about scrathing disc just have some common sense and don't move your console with a spinning disc inside. I wouldn't worry about knocking it over. I mean we get crazy at my house and it has never knocked over, and its almost alway vertical

why repost a story that has been done to death on here?.... and elsewhere on the internet?  why?

Anyway.. enjoy your new 360 when you get it, see you on LIVE no doubt............................

i didn't know it was posted to death on here, i was busy "Getting out more and having some fun"

I live for the burn...and the sting of pleasure...
I live for the sword, the steel, and the gun...

LOL. This is not overheating. This is either a connection fault or a settings confliction with the 360 and TV.

Overheating causes the console to completely freeze. Or if the overheating affects the GPU, the only graphical thing you see, is textures missing, or textures appearing like pixelated rainbows.

Repeat, whatever Sony fanboy posted this on Youtube doesnt know is how an overheating problem on ANY console looks like.

Who in their right mind is playing Call of Duty in front of a young child? that's sick...

No it isn't, unless the child can't distinguish between games/cartoons/movies and the real world. CoD multiplayer is really quite tame.

is that happening on the new xbox 360?

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

You shouldn't move a console while it is turned on with a disc spinning. If you have a free floating disc system, it will scratch your disc. Same with every current gen console, and most PCs, and also the fat PS2. That's obvious, and anyone who  doesn't know that, didn't read the instructions.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Nope. It hasn't been long enough for the issues regarding heat the affected the old 360 to become apparent on the new models. If some overheating issue is going on, it is new.

In this particular instance, heat isn't  causing the issue, because the symptoms don't match  the disease, as discussed thoroughly in this thread, Mr.  Oblivious..

NO NO, NO NO NO.

Let's see. All consoles in the same room with their original packaging.
3 xboxes on display, all different versions slim. 1 wii. 1 ps3, not the slim. Huge catalogue of core 360 games, crackdown, halo, just cause, collectors sets of those games plus regular retail game.
2 PS3 boxes, possibly one in another room or YLOD.

Looked like about 5 headsets.

Dreamcast, most gameboys, Nintendo power block stuffie.

Obviously very proud of his gaming and collection. Lots of nostalgia. Goes to e3.

Kid voice sounds like japanese, could be anime on the girl's computer in the background.

Doesn't seem that there was any kind of set-up involved here. Unless he elaborately bought all these products off of ebay to set the stage. This looks legitimate.

EDIT: This is e74 error. Due to overheating. youtube e74 to see lots of graphical problems without slowdown.
