Did you see how Nintendo guy did not even attack anyone. smart move.

Attacking a other company publicly is bad bisness period.

But MS is not attacking Nintendo publicly on the news or in its ad campagne, like Sony has.

In that link the MS guys looks on the defencive, and lashes out at both to try and save face.

But MS hole marketing is not based on what happened in that interview.

What's the difference between Reggie 'attacking' 3D with glasses, they didn't have to show pictures of a depressed family in their living room with glasses on, they didn't have to keep  telling the audience that glasses we're bad etc. It was a direct attack on Sony's product and yet I don't see people huffing and puffing over that.

Kevin Butler had one video we're he made fun of the Wii and Natal, it wasn't a commercial, it was a fan service video. Get over it, the campaign's working very well for Sony and the fanbase loves the light humour.

Nintendo has marketed aggresively in the past, Sony made one video that only forum dwellers saw, Kevin Butler is a light hearted take on the industry, get over it.

He's just a washed up actor that can't find any other work. zing!!!!!!!!!

Dude..... are you serious? When you started quoting me was b/c I said that there is not logic that they didn't have time to show something about the game, when they have 5 minutes wasted with this clown that brings nothing, in terms of games.

You are seriously lacking some reading comprehension, or just you are not really following what I said. I just said that I don't understand why Sony gave this clown a 5 minute speech trying to do a comedy stand, instead of showing a great game (Like TLG).

And then you went on to say that maybe it was because the game wasnt ready to be shown... which is stupid, because they already showed it.

Is not that i'm trolling, is just that apparently you wanted to see comedy at E3. But I wanted to see games, which is not that crazy because you know, this was a video game conference.

And yeah, Versus could have been shown instead of this, I don't know about a Demo playable, but at least some news. A lot of people were expecting it

Your really not thinking before you post, are you?. Sony has TGS coming up, they have been known to save some of their major reveal's for TGS every year because they feel that it is an important show. Why would Sony show every single exclusive they have coming for the next year in one 2 hour event?, maybe they want to save 2 exclusive titles for their next show.

Sony went into this E3 not to win, they went in to give some of their new titles air time.If they wanted to win then they could have announced and shown every title they have already shown in the last month and it would obliterated the competition in term's of exclusive content.

That wouldn't be fair for the game's though because a few would have been over shadowed by the bigger titles, which may have been another reason to postpone TLG until TGS, because they would have rathered that Twisted Metal, LBP 2, Infamous 2 and Killzone 3 get the exposure for the next few month's instead of the media darling that is TLG.

What was shown like 2 year's ago was a trailer, Killzone 2 also had a trailer 4 year's before release, it didn't mean that Killzone 2 was ready when the trailer was shown. That same example could be made for many titles and I'm surprised you didn't understand that the first time. It's obvious they want to show gameplay, it may not be ready yet for a gameplay showing or show floor demo.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

Yes, because target tech demos have never once seen the light of day. ¬_¬

By your logic, Versus XIII should have been shown and playable because they showed a teaser trailer in CG some years ago.

Are you even putting any thoughts in all this?

I would go so far as saying you're just trolling right now.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again, and keep saying it.

Kevin Butler had nothing to do with the absence of The Last Guardian. If Ueda had thought the game ready to show at E3, it would have been shown. Above Sorcery. Above Tiger Woods '11. Above Dead Space 2. Sure as hell above Medal of Honor. If that Butler bit hadn't been in there, we would have seen Virtua Tennis 2011 using Move, or some other such inane thing which nobody cared about, and which would be much less entertaining than Kevin Butler.

If Sony doesn't care about gaming, why was 1 hour 55 minutes of that conference made up of games?

Wow, that was immature. I still don't see what it had to with my post and he's obviously not a washed up actor if he's making successful commercial's on a monthly basis for a multi billion dollar company.

I didn't even know this.

But the sad truth is that while parallax barrier screen is good for single users on portables, neither it, nor shutter glasses are yet the ideal solutions for living room 3D, parallax barrier simply doesn't work from any position, glasses aren't comfortable and a pair is needed for each user.

I kinda like Kevin Butler in that he represents a slightly more humble and humorous Sony, in contrast to the E3 2006 days when they were overly arrogant and took themselves far too seriously. Problem for me is, he is annoying, and just isn't that funny. He reminds me of a poor man's Stephen Colbert.
