Been long time since my last mafia game, hope its fun

partly to see how other people react and such, i'll see how people respond to them before showing my hand...

You're not "showing your hand," you're just giving your character name.  This isn't a true mass claim, it's just a name claim.

Well here's the deal.  I already started.  I'm Rose.

This isn't a "I think we should do it but I'm afraid to myself," this is a "I think this hugely benefits the town and I'm willing to go first."

We can hym and haw about this for the next couple weeks or we can get this game off and rolling with a bang.

Right now the ones who have the most to lose by name claiming are the scum.  I guarantee it.

Everyone needs to take a good look at the people sitting on the fence right now and ask themselves why they're afraid to even say their character name. 

Are we lynching characters or users?

cause if it's characters, there is an easy way to see if Wow lies... just lynch rose... it's the first day so we won't have much to go on anyways... (isn't that nice, lynching before a crime is even commited...)

(unless I missunderstood... the character name does not mean if you're pro or anti street fighter right? so Bison could be a good guy, right?...)

We can have tons to go on if everyone reveals their character name.

And, if SciFiBoy is right, then alignment is not necessarily dependent on character.  We could have an evil Guile or a good Balrog.

ok so if your character's name does not show alignment, how is it helpful to give it away?

I'm Akuma, you're Rose, besides that, there is no information... unless someone is suposed to target Akuma that is.
