Forums - Nintendo - 3DS is 'brilliant' - Activision COO

In an in-depth interview, Thomas Tippl singles out Nintendo handheld for praise.

Well, it's not my first E3. I would say there's the usual excitement. It's great to see that first parties are coming out with new innovations. I was particularly impressed by the 3DS, and it got a great reception. It's a brilliant product. Nintendo's figured out the glasses--or the lack thereof--are key. The integration of the 3D camera was a brilliant move. And if they also address the piracy issues they have and upgrade the copyright protection system, I think it's going to be a big success and draw publisher interest to put more resources against publishing a game in this platform.

thats cool maybe they'll make something unique for the system who knows.

I smell CallOfDuty 7. Honestly Activision brought COD:4 to the DS it would make perfect sense if CallOfDuty 7 came to the 3DS. Plus note that their aren't that many shooters announced for the 3DS I'm sure Activision will love to change that. Maybe we'll get WoW too lol jkjkjk

Zombie Nazi shooting. Using the pointer would kick ass.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

It's probably just another call of duty game using the 3D features, motion controls and gyroscope. What else does Activision makes besides shooters and call of duty?
