- You can't switch between DK and Diddy, but Diddy will help cross chasms and gaps with his jetpack by jumping on DK's back.
- There won't be crocodiles at all in the game.
- The soundtrack is all reprised from the previous DKC (Miyamoto was clear on that)
- The composition of the soundtrack is done by Nintendo's Kenji Yamamoto (Prime music, Brawl and Punch-Out!! NES)
- DKC4 (I call it like that) will be playable both WiiMote/Nunchuk style or NSMBW style (WiiMote horizontally).
- The game is near completion actually. The last level is about of being make.
- Retro Studios team took 6 months to change their design tools and has been forced to play DKC's SNES and GBA game before making DKC4. Miyamoto's order was clear: "Make a better DKC".
