ideo Kojima is set to announce a major PS3 exclusive at Tokyo Games Show in September.

That's according to a senior US publishing source close to CVG.

We were told at E3 yesterday that Kojima - who made a star turn at the Los Angeles expo this week - will anounce a "massive PS3 exclusive that will own the show" in Tokyo.

Details are thin on the ground, but we understand the title will be published by Konami. The publisher oversees Kojima Productions in Japan.

CVG understands that Kojima was keen to show the game at E3, but decided to polish his demo until September "to ensure it's bulletproof". 

Kojima was in London this week to sign copies of his latest opus, Metal Gear Soild: Peace Walker on PSP.

His games - MGS: Rising on 360/PS3 and a MGS: Snake Eater demo on 3DS - were the talk of E3 this week, with early indications suggesting Rising will support Kinect on the Xbox platform.

I don't know how credible the source is, although he is certainly made out to be credible. But CVG have carried rumors that turned out to be true before. They said Joy Ride would be a launchtitle for Kinect way before everyone else for instance.

Zone of the Enders 3?

I'm not sure how probable this is now that kojima's just started making games for the 360, but its still possible.

It is three months away so i doubt the rumor is true and even if true it will be leaked before hand.

Doesn't he have more of a supporting role on Rising? It's not a full "Kojima-game" if I understood correctly.

Correct. Rising is being directed by Shigenobu Matsuyama.  Kojima is merely the executive producer.  He's been working primarily on Peace Walker since MGS4 released, as well as this other project, it seems.

I'm tempted to say it's Zone of the Enders.  It's not very popular in the west, which would fit with it being exclusive to ps3.  At the same time, it's not very popular anywhere, so it'd be hard to justify a new one with today's dev costs.  But Kojima's Kojima, so he does what he wants.

If this is true it will probably be Zone of the Enders 3,   I can see him doing another exclusive for the PS3
