doubt it.....the 30K weekly lead Is about 25% more than what it sells right now. The sale wasn't even advertised that well, and besides there are only a limited number of old sku 360's around anyway.
You cant stop the PS3.

abnd its only one day of the new SKU I believe...

Gamestops here starting selling them Thursday 17th, but I spoke to a guy at Best Buy who said thier official "street" date was Friday the 18th.
Regardless, I completely agree that it was not largely advertised (and yet it was still a bitch for me to find one).
I completely disagree with "you cant stop the PS3" but hey, to each his own.

Ok, as of now, the new 360 bundles have price cuts on the old skus, even though they are in limited numers and "upgrades" of new skus with them sitting at around the same price but with wi-fi and more memory. Well, that's nice but these things probably won't be big selling points. I'm not expecting kinect or Move to be big selling points either. In the end, MS isn't being aggressive enough to caputre market share b/c they could probably cut price by $40 or so and add these features at the same time.
Also, what has changed since the E3?
-The PSN plus has been added giving Sony another source of revenue, which helps a lot
-The PS3 will soon have Steamworks, giving developers one more reason to choose the PS3 for PC/PS3 games and kick MS to the curb. Adding the PC gamers to the mix will give developers more than enough $$$ so Sony will have to moneyhat less now (to give a PS3/Pc "exclusive" to avoid the 360), which will save them $$$$.
-The 360 has a slim version now, that is 18% smaller than the orginal....whoah market changer here guys. The PS3 slim is 30% smaller thna the original.... and this is as small as the 360 is going to get, it ain't getting any more "freebies" now. This is its last beneficial turn of events.
It's been great so far for the PS3, more and more to come.
