MS just thinks they are going to get a Wii like craze with their motion control software, which is why they think they can get away with pricing this stuff so high.. Problem is, Wii had an actual controller, I'm not sure too many people want to play games waving their bodies around. Not to mention the price of entry is over twice that of a Wii with two games. Also, I have seen very few games developed for Kinect that shows MS is actually serious about drawing in the expanded audience. MS is going to be in for a rude awakening when this thing fails.

I'm still keeping that glimmer of hope that MS will price the Kinect/250GB SKU at $299.

Unlikely, sure, but if MS really wanted to boost adoption rates of Kinect and sell a lot more consoles...

Yes even Wii mini game games are released either £34.99 or £39.99. Same as 360 releases.

What did you expect? Kinect games are valued depending on user. What seems like rubbish to you isnt rubbish to the casuals. 

I bet the casuals laugh at people paying £39.99 for Halo Reach. They probably think what a waste.

PS360 games are the same prices, Unless your reffering to shops that sell pre-owend games, and even then the prices change everyday depending on what stock they have on that game either particular console, so it goes either way 

I think he backtracked slightly on the"usually" but it certainly was more common in the past not so now. I think Wii games are normally priced the sames as 360/PS3 games though.

Having said that it is probably just as common to find PS3 games cheaper than the 360. Tiger Woods 11 for example is cheapest on the Wii and most expensive on the 360  with the Wii £7 cheaper than the 360 and the 360 £2 more expensive than the PS3.

No rule appears hard and fast it would seem.
