It's no worse than all the M-rated shovelware. ;)
A lot has already been said about maturity in games, so I don't want to belabor the point. But think about it this way -- game ratings are a minimum-age cutoff. E10+ means ages 10 and older, T means 13 and older, M means 17 and older. You might notice that there is no rating for "13 and under." That means that there is no game rating that means "this game is inappropriate for adults."
All these graphs really show is that Wii games have a wider possible audience. Think about it, over half of PS3 games (according to these graphs) are inappropriate for kids under 13. But no Wii games (according to these graphs) are inappropriate for adults.
Nothing against you, cool48, it was just a stupid headline. But if someone wants to point out a console's immaturity, show me the slice of the pie that represents games inappropriate for adults. I'm not saying there won't be one, either.
