My main issue is that stupid subcontroller.  The main move controller at $50 makes sense when compared to the Wiimote and WM combo, which goes for $55.  The subcontroller being $10 more than a nunchuck despite having less functionality is the kicker.  Wtf is up with that!

it has less functionality?  i thought they worked exactly the same except it was wireless...?

Oh!  Forgot it was wireless!  Ok, that somewhat justifies the price.  But it lacks motion sensors.  It's just an analog nub and buttons.

I'm pretty sure the sub-controller has an accelerometer as well. It should match the left side functionality of the DS3, only designed for one-handed use.

i just went and looked at the wiki page for it. it doesnt list any motion sensing for for the device.  it also says it has the X and O buttons from the controller...so that would be mean for any game using those it wouldnt be possible to use a dual shock in place of navigation controller.

Wiimote 40 nunchuk 20 Mplus 20 = 80 dls

Move 50 Chuk 30 40 eyecam= 120 dls

40dls its a lot if u ask me

but that suggests someone owns a wii and doesnt own a controller.

edit:  you would also need to include the price of 2 move wands, since it seems a number of the games require two for proper functioning

um no that's not quite true the only one that right now require's to have two for it to work is

"the fight: light's out"

off the top of my head - they also showed both archery and volleyball using two wands.

but you do not need the second for those two to work. the 2nd enhances the game yes but you only need one.

the Fight: light's out

is the only one that does require 2

I think he means two wiimotes for one person.

The only one I know is the "Helix" Wiiware dance game :|

I was very hyped for move, but then I saw the price.

100$ (=100€) just for eye and 1 move wand and shitty game.

It could have been 80$ = eye wand sub minigames, but no.

btw Isn't it just cheaper to buy eye and wand and maybe socom 4 separately

PS MOVE will be discounted to  $30-35 at many places as DS3

PS NAV too will be discounted near $20

PS EYE is already $30 at many places

you can buy many of the games you are already buying this fall and have move support as many of them have

SONY's MOVE pricing was effected by KINECT dissapointment

Discounts come and go. But you also have to remember that other items will also be being discounted. So the comparison of one item being lower than another remains the same.

Personally, I think that anything more than a 20% discount from Amazon would be really stretching it (which means $40 for the Move controller -- not $30-$35).

And if you buy in a store -- which most people will - you will generally not find that discount.

no it's not $180..

PS MOVE is $49.99

PS EYE is $39.99

you do not need the "sub controller" that is only if you don't want to use the dualshock 3 as a controller.

the bundle brings sports champ, demo disc, ps eye, and ps move for $99.99

I am in luck, since I have already purchased the PS EYE for video chat, and ps eye games, back in 2007, I only have to waste $49.99 for the PS MOVE.
