Yeah, I got excited when they said Take Two, and also when they said Square Enix

The lack of announcement from Insomniac was just plain confusing. Resistance 2 was at E3 2008 with a hands on event

I only watched Sony E3 for a Resistance 3 announcement trailer :(

I was annoyed about this too, but then I started thinking logically: why would they not show Last Guardian and Agent? Both are very popular, especially with the audience of their E3 conference. It follows that neither is ready to be shown (or in the case of The Last Guardian, nothing they could show would be any different to what they showed last year)

Have faith. There are two more huge press events this year alone, and judging by the push for Move and 3D, the PS3 will be supported for a good five years from now.

We have enough great shooters coming out to worry about a sequel to Resistance 2.

Because if it was shown here it would, in all likelihood, be a sequel to Resistance 2. The fact that it's taking longer to develop is a promising sign.

If Sony knew there was something that should be featured, and they didn't have time for it in their press conference (highly unlikely, because TLG is the biggest fan service exclusive they have, and Agent the second biggest exclusive fullstop), they would have featured it before or immediately after E3.

What about Resistance 3? I totally believed they would reveal it. I was really shocked and surprised they didn't. I wanted to see a small teaser trailer of some sort just to keep me happy. It's good though that they aren't rushing it this time.

You guys know if Insomniac was even at E3?  If so did they even show anything? They have multiple titles in the works i am sure so for them to not show anything is surprising.

Yep, I thought the same. Probably R3 will even get a new graphics engine, but who knows.

I'm expecting an announcement at Gamescom.

I dont think they were

EA pointed to Ted Price in the audience when they were announcing their EA Partners crap.   Resistance 3 probably got delayed since Insomniac is now working on Multi-platformm stuff
