Yeah this is what i dont understand, is the conference over for Microsoft ??, i mean they havnt annouced many (any) core games, so i mean is this it. just a price cut and Kinect?? will they have another chance to announce stuff?

If that's the case then that's the biggest fail of the conference. Imagine all the games they had to cut. Even if they're multiplatform it would have been something for traditional gamers to get excited for.

To be honest I didn't think it was that bad. Yes, most of the Kinect games were stuff we've seen on Wii or Eyetoy, but they did evolve the genre's somewhat from those games. The animal game looks like it could be quite popular with kids, the fitness game looks to give a more detailed analysis and may actually work to help people lose weight, the dance game is the first I've seen without arrows and the sports game... well, yeah, actually, that one was pretty lame.

Don't think they cut anything out, just beacuse it says 2 hours on the schedule doesn't mean it has to exactly 2 hours.

And I think you forgot how to count using roman numerals. When the smaller number is in front of the larger number you subtract it. So... 10-5=5, 5 3=8! :-p

Thought it was pretty good.  Fable 3, Gears 3, and Halo 3 will all sell a shit ton.  3 of the bigger exclusives this gen.

Thought Ubisoft did a great job with their Natal fitness app.  Great UI and asthetics.  Very impressed by their usage of the body and menu items.  I envisioned a scheme similar to the one they developed.  Looks to be a great bit of software.

The dashboard controls like I figured it would.  Large buttons using an icon for the hand.  Voice control.  Video chat.  All good.

ESPN is pretty darn cool.  Especially being no extra charge for Gold members.

Little disappointed in the 1st party Natal apps.  Was hoping for much better usage of the system.  Things can be casual and clever at the same time.

Halo Reach will be epic.

Zune music being added is great.

 

Overall a meh conference for MS.

They cut out information about the current 360 models being price slashed.  They also left out quite a few games for Kinect that they showed on the slide, as well as games like Crackdown 2.  Trust me, you'll be seeing/hearing a lot more about MS games and news over the week that they couldn't fit into the show.
