No the point isnt that PS Move sucks. the point is

EVERYONE HATED ON Wii because it was Motion Controls. Now because Motion Controls are on a HD System they are cool and everyone praises it.

When I read the original post from the IGN dude it sounded like something someone would say about the Wii remote and not to mention sounds like similar things I have experienced with the Wii remote.

Off course this hasn't been the case on 95% of the games because developers have just been lazy and made quick crap cash ins. However if you play a well done game like Godfather, or COD MW Reflex, you will see what I mean will well implemented motion controls.

Now we all know MOVE is better as it is new technology, but in the end it is still double standards people hating motion controls because it is on a Nintendo platform. When Sony does it suddenly they are cool.

THAT IS THE ISSUE!! NOT MOVE! BLINDED FANBOYS!! Instead of gamers who enjoy a variety of systems and games.

It wasn't a main course, but it was in development well beforehand.. the wii obviously forced them to unleash MOVE, but you can't say SONY never thought of motion gaming beforehand..

edit: Also, why don't people give credit to sony for the disc format for consoles? I mean NINTENDO started using a disc format with Gamecube, after sony's PS1 sucess.. yet nobody mentions that. BUT OFCOURSE WHEN SONY IS DOING SOMETHING SIMILAR TO NINTENDO it is mentioned and painted on to these forums as if it is blasphemy. Ive been on this site since it started, and I know people too well.

Wait, what?

Nintendo went to Sony in the early 90s to make the SNES Playstation. Sony tried to friggin take complete control of Nintendo's IPs through some shoddy ass contract. After the fallout, Sony went off on their own. Why do you think Ninty let Philips get their grimy  hands on Zelda with the CD-i??

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Yet another PS Move thread bombarded by the Wii fanbase.

It's getting tiresome now...

People can't change their opinions after 5 years?

ROFL.   Dude you need to chill.  You think 'Everyone' hated on the Wii because it was motion controls?  While the Wii dominates the market landscape right now with over 50% marketshare?  Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightt.   People loved the concept of the Wii. They loved the pricing of the Wii.   People love Nintendo (If for anything....Nostalgia at it's finest).

When the Wii came out,  tons of people ran out and bought one because it was something different that was cheap.  The 'complaining' or hatred you started to see develop for the Wii was soley and primarily because the games released for the Wii were subpar in over 95% of titles (As you mentioned).

Sure Wii Sports was fun for a month or two.   It's not enough to tide me over though.   Sure Mario Galaxy was fun but it didn't even take too much usage of the motion controls.   I mean many of the Wii's best games I opted to never touch the motion controls and use the Gamecube controller because they didn't work particularly well for me (I'm talking to you Super Smash Brothers).

That is/was/has been the issue for a VAST majority of people.  Games, Games, Games.  I don't care why 95% of the Wii titles don't do what they are supposed to.  I care about the end results and that is my fun.   Wii fans love to point out that the HD twins rushed into the HD generation in a graphical arms race unnecessarily.   Could the same thing be said about the Wii rushing into an unknown control scheme and having an insane amount of shovelware produced for it?  Possibly.

People are curious about Move because of the possibilities.  With another party jumping on board, the Wii is bound to see better support.  (Add this to a growing list of reasons why Wii fans should be happy about Sony adopting motion controls).   Sony (Atleast in the video game industry) has always been that company that has succeeded by providing their owners a ridiculous plate of options.  (Whether it's Blu-Ray, Games, Free Internet, or Exclusive titles in past generations, or a wide array of genres, or new IPs).    Them adopting motion controls in such a big way almost guarantees some very creative and interesting uses for motion controls that may really start moving the ball towards complete change.

I really want to see Sony's conference now. I do expect it to be focused on MOVE, but at least that's not entirely a bad thing now.

It has potential. But I want to see the potential !

Who's the best Pac, Nas, and Big. Just leave it to that.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Slaughterhouse Is The Sh*t  .... NOW ........ B_E_L_I_E_V_E

This.  Also, many people didn't like the precision and accuracy of the Wiimote without Wii Motion .  I was really less than impressed until I played Wii Sports Resort.  Then I saw the real potential in motion controls.  I bought a Wii in the first year but sold it after being less than impressed.  But I bought one again after seeing that Nintendo did recognize that there was a flaw in the motion control and came up with the WM .

I sense alot of insecurity in this thread.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
