The ponchos were for a silly light show at the end. They had nothing to do with the Kinect demo. The ponchos didn't even cover people's arms. In fact, I don't think people were actually able to demo Kinect at the event. It was only shown in video form.

We had some people at the Kinect conference...they weren't impressed. The Star Wars game is apparently on rails. Can't say for sure, but it seems the reaction will be mixed when more info comes out.

There is definitly a huge delay...

Anyway... if this is the future of gaming I will probably stop playing games when this becomes standard...
