I can't see to many people waiting to buy a console just for GT tbh. Most people who really want a console this gen have got one. The people who like GT will like other games. In my opinion people who are now buying consoles are most likely owners of another console i.e Wii.

MS may market it as a new game system, but that doesn't mean it is one. I don't think the average consumer is going to be fooled by a different appearance and an addon.

MS is giving a valiant effort with the slimline, pricedrops, and Natal, but if the games don't appeal to the expanded audience,  then a new console design and full body motion controls aren't going to change that.

I think if they push the new deisgn Natal with a bundled price of $250, and make games the expanded auidnece would like, such as fitness games, dancing games, and arcade style party games, it may have a shot at moving a few million extra consoles. But I don't really think it'll have a significant long term effect on sales.

What MS would have been better off doing is holding off on Natal for awhile longer and making an entirely new neg gen console that utilizes it. That way they could get a fresh start.

NATAL will be showing people a new way to play games, something that wasn't seen before. They will market the new xbox 360 with it, it will look like a new console.

This is a very slick console, very cool. but natal wont be the deciding factor, it will be the games. i can see some type of Halo Reach bundle selling well over xmas, but whether or not the momentium holds is a different matter. the thing with the PS3 slim launch was games, theres still such a strong release calander; this is something not so evident with M$ at the moment.

oh and by the way it dosent matter what this looks like, it wont sell in Japan. the deciding region at the moment is the EU, if 360 dosent top PS3 there, then their campagain for world domination is over, lol. so it will be intertesting to see what else Sony & M$ have up their sleeve to go this last stretch.

also if this redesign is 100% true, which if it is this may also prolong Microsoft from releasing a NEW replacement for the xbox360, because this new redesign of the xbox360 would help keep the xbox360 more than viable for no replacement for atleast for the next couple of year's.

the xbox360's replacement may not be released until after 2013 if this redesign is true.
