Hey, Fire Emblem is awesome.

Hey, Fire Emblem is awesome.

It sure is, because it doesn't play itself. |
What are you talking about? All you do is control the position of your characters and what equipment and skills they have. The battles play out without any input from you more complex than "hit this guy".
Or did you mean another game where you control the position of your characters, their equipment, what enemy units they target, and then watch the battles play themselves?
| RolStoppable said: Yes, I meant that other game where your input orders and then you'll lean back for some minutes and watch what happens. |
Listen, Radiant Dawn is awesome too. You leave Radiant Dawn out of this.
Fire Emblem is a pretty tough series. I have respect for those games. Trying to get through those on tougher modes without losing characters is TOUGH.
This is exactly what I was talking to you the other day about Rol. SMG 2 is just more of the same and a perfect example of Nintendo playing it safe. 3 stars a week is about all I can handle without having a bout with narcolepsy.
I'd rather do something exciting and new. I'm going to hunt the same five monsters for the 800th time. What do you think about that?

playing it safe eh? Isn't that all Nintendo has been doing for the past couple years?
Think about it this way. What if SMG1 hadn't ever come out and then this game was released.
Think about expansions and other "rehashing" titles like portal:still alive, left 4 dead 2, wii play, or any of the mario parties.
How is this any different? But now you complain? I would've been complaining when modern warfare 2 came out...or when twilight princess came out...or wii sports resort...metroid prime 3, animal crossing, brawl, mkwii.... oh wait, I was complaining.
You don't have a point NOW because it has gotten good reviews. It's only your way of trashing the reviewers for giving a wii game a good score, thereby justifying all their old scores. But, it doesn't matter what they do, does it?

if nintendo is actually lazy, then everybody else just plain sucks.
...just saying
come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1
you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

I disagree
NSMB Wii isn't anywhere near as good as SMG.
SMG2 from the vids I've seen adds new innovations and refines everything to perfection.

From the vids you have seen. From the vids you have seen! You can't disagree with what I've said, because you have not enough knowledge on the subject at hand. Additionally you probably haven't even read the original post, but merely skimmed it. Just go away and make a hype thread for the rumored Donkey Kong game by Retro Studios or something. |
OMG Donkey Kong Country 3 AT LAST!

What in the Hell are you on about?
