I hope not. I'm all for a game from Itagaki where the sexes get roughly equal treatment, and I'm also all for a game where his focus is solely on how to make the action more engaging.

Where does this hope spring from?

Boundless, unstoppable optimism based somewhat on the trailer's focus on good old-fashioned ultraviolence and the relatively conservative design of the female lead. I mean, she's wearing a shirt!

love it. hopfully he will refine the graphic's before the games release. i wonder if the lead characers breast will get bigger and move more.

When has he ever given the sexes equal treatment.  Aside from Dead or Alive where arguably the female fighters are better because they're faster, the only reason we finally got to play as Ayane in Ninja Gaiden finaly was when Itagaki left.

Six upcoming games you should look into:

Dead or Alive was never equal treatement - design is part of the equation, too.

And this trailer looks like a good start.

Fair enough.  We would also have accepted "Sexual Harrasment Lawsuit."

I would sooner think he reached this idea independently. What are the odds he learned his lesson from something? Nada, says I.

The multiplayer for this could be crazy.

I will probably buy this one.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

It looks pretty good, I'll keep my eye on it.
