I got a feeling we might be seeing a new GTA game announced on monday at Microsoft's conference.

The time is right and i would not be surprised at all to see it have some exclusivity on 360 somehow i.e DLC/Timed release etc... I can't see the £50m MS paid covering just a couple of add-ons that are also now on other formats. It is a lot of money just for that.

As for what it could be i have no idea. I do not think it will be GTA5 but more a spin off i.e San Andreas,Vice City etc...

Either way i hope they return back to the old style of gta.

Yes. We are WAY overdue on a new GTA game.

Look at the release dates of GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if it was announced/revealed this year at either Sony's or Microsoft's conference. Set to release next year.

Will be interesting to see if any "exclusives" are announced for it too...

It's the perfect time to announce one. People once again have faith in Rockstar after RDR. I think it'll be Vice City.

It's still to early for Rockstar me thinks.

Well, how long did it take to develop GTA4? Open world games are difficult to create given  the amount of detail needed in HD textures and characters. You cant expect RockStar to crank out HD GTAs like they did for the PS2.
