it was an OKAY conference, like the Nintendo ones
but it was completely different from the shocker Microsoft ones that they usually do
so people's expectations were more and people were comparing it with older MS E3 conferences
if you compare to Nintendo,it was alright then

A 500 gb PS3 has been rumoured, if it's the same price as the current model than Microsoft is they one in trouble. |
it is not like one of the console possess a BR player ....
Time to Work !
If not for Zelda and DK... I would say Microsoft won E3...
I mean... BABY TIGER guys!
(not kidding!)
It was a very good conference overall, but some things were actually... bad.
As I expected Kinect is just too casual and thats the reason why I'm not going to buy it, but it looks great, that's for sure. Also... why haven't they said something about the price? Futhermore... there were actually no surprises, I expected at least one...
I'm a bit disappointed about MGS: Rising. Now it seems to me more like a hack&slash game than a stealth action game

Without that bribe. I bet you everyone would have came out of that conference dissappointed.
I don't understand the negativity here, I thought it was a good showcase of Kinect as a slick and direct input method and the games looked quite a bit more polished than their Move counterparts (at GDC) imho.
Xbox Slim is a good move as well, although people probably won't rush to rebuy the 360 at $299, still it should be a step forward for MS in design (esp. in from factor and noise output).

The post interview on GTTV say the Arcade will be cut to $149 and the Elite will be cut to $249, no word on whether they will be faced out or not.
A mixed bag. Expensive conference. Some of the Kinect games looked fun. They finally showed it off with the voice recognition working well and the camera tracking was nice. I think the Kinectimals should sell fairly well if the install base builds up properly. The dance and fitness games games look to be exciting evolutions fo their respective genres. Oddly, I was really excited about the interface options (voice recognition, hand gestures for selecting), very sci-fi.
Downside of Kinect was the Forza thing; seemed a bit pointless mostly except for looking around the cockpit and I'm not sure how he was accelerating/braking when he did play. Also the kart game seemed a little generic for the device.
Would like some more info on the Crytek game as well. Is this what Crytek UK have been working on or is this deal fairly recent? They didn't exactly show much for the 360 on its own. Would have liked some more non-Kinect announcements.
