What are you saying?  Who the hell carries a basketball hoop?  Soccer is same concept, you just need a Soccer ball and find a park with built in soccer nets.  Bball just need the ball and go to a park with built in hoops. Bball n soccer are the two easiest sports to pick up and cheap just to play with friends.  Why do you think its most played around the world and in the ghetto? lol.

Baseball you all need a glove if your not batting (is everyone gonna have to buy a glove?), a bat, and a ball.

Football is also easy to organize, just a ball and a field but harder on kids cuz there's more oriented rules where you got formation, tackle/touch, only one person throws.  Soccer is more simple, just pass with feet, kick with feet. no hands allowed.

I think your assesment is somewhat flawed. When I play football (soccer) in the park with my friends we setup goal posts using jumpers and bags.You don't need to carry goals around with you. All you need is a goal, your friends and some bags/coats. Alternatively, you could find a pitch with goals already setup, like you'd have to find a court with a hoop for basketball.

There are less rules than American football, and you don't even need to buy a goal, (or a hoop). Hell, round my aunt's house me and my cousins used to play using the sofa as a goal and a pair of rolled up socks as a ball.

There's 75 basketball courts between my house and the mailbox.  There's probably one soccer goal in my entire city......and somebody probably has a Mitsubishi parked in it.

I played soccer for a little while in high school.  I must admit that it was fun to play but the score was always 0 to 0 except for a few occasions.  It's fun to play but not too much fun to watch.  I'll also note that ice hockey is waning in popularity as of late, too.  I don't know why.  Maybe Americans have a problem with nets?

I think americans like sports with high scores. Clearly they couldn't stand a 0-0 football match, so thay had to invent the stupid shootouts.
