Actually, that's a really good theory.  Make's sense.  I mean all the MGS's for the PS2 got a director's cut.  And there were reports the game had to be cut because it wouldn't fit, even on a DL Blu-ray.  With the increased specs of the current Blu-rays, I'm sure there would be plenty of room for that extra content.

I think it would be cool to see a MGS1 Director's Cut for the PS3, with MGS4 graphics or better.
