Some of the samples software was nifty. I loved the carving sample. That was awesome. Don't be too excited. I don't know about any of you, but in the samples there was very obvious issues in regards to high fidelity pointers. Watch how much the arm has to move for the happy face painting sample. The high accurate fidelity was only achieved by large motion. This is the same flaw I have been mentioning with Natal. It's great in some areas, but in over all control where you want high fidelity in low motion Move is going to falter.
Though I think the orb is the dumbest looking part to it. It's also it's stronger element over the Wiiremote. The ball provides tracking position regardless of controller angle. Where as the Wiiremote requires that the sensor of the Riimote pointing at the led.
I suggest people should do some reading on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parallax. Really understand why while in a car the trees nearby cross your view faster than the mountains in the distant. Then understand what a Camera would see if both mounted on a tree and another on the mountain.
Either way I'm interested in seeing what's going to come out. I really loved the model samples more than anything.
