Alejandro is not art. The music video has NOTHING to do with the lyrics, she's just trying to get people talking about her and she's succeeded. And almost every single bit of the video has been done before, so it's not exactly 'fresh' or 'innovative' at all.. it's more of a 'greatest hits' only without all the glory.
But what can you say, GaGa fans will always be her 'little monsters' (seriously, the stupidest term EVER) and they will love her no matter how many other songs and videos she steals.
On the positive side of things, as a diehard Madonna fan I'm glad that she's doing this... this only proves my point that Madonna is the one who made music videos important in the first place, after all she's still being copied 25 years after making her debut in the industry.
