It looks good, but the person's TV was too dark.

It seems interesting enough though. I would play it.

Just search for Xenoblade on justin.tv lol there's plenty of direct feed streams really high quality stuff, I'm really liking what I've seen... but within the first minute of watching a stream I was spoiled on a major plot point ~_~

As long as people are fighting bosses you're good, the likelyhood that they are fighting bosses is high because they WILL kill you... OVER AND OVER, and they don't play the cutscene again so it was just by chance I walked in on a video with a major spoiler in it, every stream since has not had anything that spoils the game for me.

Here's a REALLY good article explaining Xenoblade if you don't know much about it or want to know more.

Page 5 is battle system stuff if you're wondering about that btw.

That was a great article. Thanks.

Looks ok with only minor flaws. Draw distance seems good at first glance, but look at the fences from the left (past 2 minutes or so) that just pop up (probably game pushes Wii system resources hard since it is a grand scale). Noticeable jaggies at cliffs, especially when you go under that mini tunnel. Load time to dungeon was fast (which is a plus), but shadows remind me of first gen PS2 era which is a little dissapointing. Lighting was meh. Battle system reminds me of WKC. Something makes me believe that even if it turns out like WKC, it will end up scoring higher because it's a Wii game (granted WKC's localization in the US was mediocre at best, voice acting was slightly better than RE1 on PS1 lol "loook it's blooooood!"). I am looking more forward to Last Story at this point.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

The people are right on the character models now that I think about it

According to Famitsu it's only slightly inferior to FFXIII, which is good for a non final fantasy title. Now if only TRUE great JRPG's like Valkyrie Profile 1 and 2 would have gotten a 36 (deserves it more than every JRPG this gen).

lol, i'm not much of risk taker... won't be watching any more of this game, i think i'm hyped enough already, and pretty sure i'm gonna get the game

i like the sound of those boss battles though, i hope they're as cool as i'm imagining them :p

yeah, i watched some footage of the girl before i decided to stop looking, she ran very strangely... but then she got to some stairs and starting running up them, that was even more embarresing to look at :p

all that said, i don't think it'll ANY impact on my enjoyment of the whatsoever, nor will the shadows or any of that other non-important stuff, the scenery i saw was breathtaking! i loved how the game looked and how it had a certain atmosphere to it.

also, like another person here said, the texture work in this game is AMAZING, they did a really great job of making everything look good and gave things depth without it having that many polygons

but yeah i do agree that The Last Story definitely has some of the best graphics on Wii, it's better looking than XenoBlade from what i've seen

Honestly other than being an action RPG I don't see a lot of connections to WKC which I thought was meh.

And this game has pretty damn amazing design, despite the pop in, it's sort of obvious they do that because of how big the game is, it also helps with the seamless loading (until you change sections), the shadows and lower res character models I sort of forgive since few games this gen (or last for that matter) have Xenoblades open enviornments that are meant to be explored (this goes for all consoles), yeah there are the open world games but most of them have nothing important till you hit certain points but I've seen videos of people playing xenoblade and then jump off a cliff and find an area with big bad enemies triple their level... and then kill them :P while still in a early section of the game, so you can go back later and explore that area as well.

I dunno I just really don't feel WKC and Xenoblade has already REALLY impressed me, its went from catching my eye to being a day 1 buy now.

^^ I like it!

high energy, fast paced and gives some sense of danger, feels triumphant towards the end, like you've just conquered everyone and emerged victorious!! - i have a feeling it's in a later part of the game (maybe boss related), it just feels like whatever is going on, it's a pretty BIG deal... there's my analysis of this track lol :p

i definitely look forward to hearing it in the game :)
