Wow. Castlevania could be my personal sleeper hit. graphics look great. Shadows of The Collosus meats God Of War 3. I have high hopes for this. 360 & PS3.

As amazing as Castlevania: Lord of the Shadows is, it's far from being a sleeper hit, not when it comes from one of the best franchises in gaming history
I just hope they manage to create the same epic feeling that the 2D adventure games have. Even though Lament of the Innocent&Curse of Darkness for PS2 and Castlevania 64&Legacy of Darkness for the N64 were good games, they failed to capture some of the essence of Castlevania.
Let's see what they can come up with this time
Current PC Build
CPU - i7 8700K 3.7 GHz (4.7 GHz turbo) 6 cores OC'd to 5.2 GHz with Watercooling (Hydro Series H110i) | MB - Gigabyte Z370 HD3P ATX | Gigabyte GTX 1080ti Gaming OC BLACK 11G (1657 MHz Boost Core / 11010 MHz Memory) | RAM - Corsair DIMM 32GB DDR4, 2400 MHz | PSU - Corsair CX650M (80+ Bronze) 650W | Audio - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 | Monitor - Samsung U28E590D 4K UHD, Freesync, 1 ms, 60 Hz, 28"
I sure do miss the old NES Castlevania where everything feels so stiff and how he falls/jumps down like a rock lol.

Simon's Quest FTW
That game actually made you cringe whenever you saw a screen with Medusa Heads >_<

If this is something like god of war (rotating whips with lots of flying life balls around you) and (please nooo) QTEs, then I'm not touching this game with a 100 ft pole. I'm saying this because those shots are incredibly similar to GOW's.
Well, we always have the DS for classic Castlevania anyway.

Actually, classic castlevania isn't like the DS games, at all
There hasn't been a Classic Castlevania, since the days of Vampire Kiss and Super Castlevania IV for the SNES (except maybe the PSP remake of Rondo of Blood). Those DS games are the perpetuation of the new take that the series took after Symphony of the Night, a more RPG/Exploration approach. Hence why sometimes they're called Metroidvania, since they have the same exploration scheme as the 2D Metroid games.

Looks nice, and with Kojima assisting (but being filtered), we should get his good ideas without quite so much of his crazyness. Having said that, it does look a bit God of Wary, so that does put it back from a first day purchase especially if it is coming later this year (I am already fully booked!)
These screens look great. I hope the action isn't as mindless as GoW and that they capture the exploration and platforming elements well. That was my biggest complaint about the 3D castlevania games on PS2 is it felt like endless hallways of the same repeated textures far too often.
