Forums - General - If we get attack again will musilms in the US be sent to camps?

Sending muslims to camps would be a incredibly stupid move. If we ignore all talk about respect, humanity, etc, how do you think the rest of the world would respond? That would be extremely bad PR.

Also, it would give extremists huge amounts of free propaganda to use to recruit more soldiers. More soldiers = more suicide bombings.

I hope you don't think for real that such a thing would happen...

But don't worry. You can't round up millions of people, and put them in camps. That would be racial discrimination, and the USA with its first amendment and fifth amendment and "Land of the Free" and everything could never do that.

Also, a tiny minority of the (billion) Muslims in the world are terrorists. Recently, in the UK, a taxi driver went crazy and went on a killing spree. But we're not rounding up taxi drivers and putting them in camps. Not that anyone really takes taxis here.

I think (hope) he meant that Israel would be the next target of Muslim extremists.

o well im just sayin its happened here in the states a few times. and theres a difference between a killing spree and running a plan into 4 buildings (Only three were successful).

Al-Qaeda doesn't hate Christianity: Jesus is said to be a prophet in the Qu'ran. Al-Qaeda hates the Western way of life. They hate how religion isn't enforced by law.

And finally, one of Al-Qaeda's greatest weapons is brainwashing people into thinking that the West mistreats Muslims. If the West does start to mistreat Muslims, there would be a massive wave of signup for Al-Qaeda, and things would get much, much, much worse.

And I'm pretty sure you knew all of this, and just wanted the attention from this thread.

The United States is a very different country than what it was pre-World War II. So the answer is no.
