Pretty much hit the nail on the head. I just don't see this working and no matter what, at least one of the two respective fanbases will be very disappointed.

impossible tekken characters are all bout combos while street fighter are all about special move
the game would be too much unbalenced bcuz street fighter are just too powerfull compare to the more realistic tekken characters

Long pause..... now that I thought about it some more Tekken VS Virtua Fighter and Street Fighter VS Mortal Kombat or Blazblue VS Guilty Gear would all be better mash ups IMO.

I love Tekken and Street Fighter, so the idea is very interesting but I cant see how it would work.
Firstly the two franchises are so completely different, one would need to assimilate the other (Tekken being more cartoony and playing more like SF would be my guess) that the assimilated franchise would lose its identity and just wouldnt be the game it was.
If they could make it work, i'd be quite surprised. I think I would just rather have Tekken 7 and Street Fighter 5 personally.
But I cant see this as being true as having only just announced MvC3 I cant imagine they would already be announcing a X-over game so soon.

The idea is intersting but since SF is a 2D fighter and Tekken is a 3D fighter, can we expect Tekken vs SF to be 2.5D?

SF4 is a 2.5D so if confirmed it'll probably looks like SF4. Now Tekken and SF players can unit and no more trash talking across the arcades anymore lol
