Admin, whats vgchartz 3.0 site traffic like since the change?

Dunno if this is something only I see but the forum posting has gone down a LOT :S

I'm finding it a bit harder to check all areas. I know they want us to click around as it improves hits (which lead to revenue with advertisers), but this is not exactly easy to navigate for now. Hopefully, it'll become "a habit" soon.

You can check the traffic scrolling all the way down in the forums page, it shows the people online just like it used to...for what I've checked, the number of guests online is down significantly to what it used to be, but I don't know if it only counts users that are in gamrConnect

Website is more troublesome to navigate now. I used to spend quite a bit of time in VG chartz reading new topics n posts. Now I'll just come in for a minute and I just feel like logging out.

Analysing each section:

Since May 31 the "Traffic" has fallen sharply (but that seems to a be a trend after it peaks on mondays)

The "reach" has also fallen, but not as sharply as the traffic

The "page views" peaked at May 31 & have fallen but not by much & they are still high compared to a month ago

"Page views PER user" have gone UP since May 31

"bounce" has fallen sharply & is at its lowest in the last month

"Time on site" has increased since May 31

"Search %" has fallen since May 31

I freelance for different sites and do PR stuff for a few as well. To draw any conclusion based on a week of stats is pointless. Site stats rise/fall on a regular basis, and with the new layout hitting late in the month, and it being the month before E3 when news and releases come to a freakin hault, it'll be hard for them to tell until a month or two go by.

Pretty much everyone will get a big boost from E3, too... so that skews data if you're just looking for how the new layout is working. But if you compare the loadtime of the site now compared to what it was, there was a huge increase. It went from 95% of sites being faster than VGChartz to 81% being faster. It may not be the most important thing in the world, but the loadtimes are what have kept me, and several of my friends, from being active in the past.
